LICENSE & PERMIT DISCLOSURE

State-required transparency on guide permits and trip operations.

Per Colorado state requirements, Trout Tricks is disclosing the following regarding our guided fishing trips.

Trout Tricks does not hold independent state-issued guide permits for the Colorado state park waters listed below. All guided trips offered by Trout Tricks on these waters are conducted as a subcontractor under The Call of the Wild Outdoor Adventures (TCOTW), the licensed permit holder.

Permitted Waters

The following waters are guided under permits held by The Call of the Wild Outdoor Adventures (TCOTW):

• Antero Reservoir
• Williams Fork Reservoir
• Lathrop State Park

For trips on these waters:

• Trout Tricks operates strictly as a subcontracted guide under TCOTW.
• All booking, pricing, scheduling, and final trip confirmation are completed through TCOTW, following their structure and policies.
• Clients who begin the booking process through Trout Tricks will have their trip finalized through TCOTW. All payments and confirmations are processed through TCOTW's system.
• Trout Tricks does not represent that we independently hold these permits, and we do not operate on these waters outside of TCOTW's authorization.

Our goal is full transparency, full compliance, and clear communication with every client regarding the subcontracting process and which entity holds the operating permit for each body of water.

Current Conditions

We are actively adjusting to recent closures and shifting conditions, including the temporary closure of Antero Reservoir announced for May 2026. Guided trips will continue on the other permitted waters under TCOTW, and we remain committed to providing quality experiences throughout this transition.
